Trump in Michigan to Shut Down Never-Trumper Perry Johnson’s Fake "Trump Tailgate" Stunt
President Trump is in Michigan TODAY at GM’s Milford Proving Grounds to back his endorsed candidates and lock in John James, @JohnJamesMI, as the Republican nominee for Governor.
This is a direct counter to Perry Johnson’s fake “TRUMP TAILGATE” in the same county. Johnson spent tens of millions running against Trump and his endorsed candidates in 2022 and 2024. Now he’s trying to co-opt the President’s name and brand for his own campaign events after getting NO endorsement. VERY MISLEADING!
Last week, POTUS got wind Perry was planning a fake TRUMP TAILGATE as a political stunt in Milford with the help of the Oakland County GOP and it's Chair Patrick Vance, in response the President scheduled the REAL TRUMP RALLY for the actual America First candidates.
President Trump, as well as myself, have issued complete and total endorsements for John James. Don’t fall for the imitation.
