Pro-Maduro Rallies Sweep US: Organized by Manolo De Los Santos, ANSWER Coalition, Code Pink, & Neville Roy Singham

Pro-Maduro Rallies Sweep US: Organized by Manolo De Los Santos of People's Forum, ANSWER Coalition, Code Pink, & Neville Roy Singham-Funded Network @TTA_NewsNetwork

Following the U.S. military operation on January 3, 2026, that captured Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro, pro-Maduro protests erupted across nearly 100 U.S. cities, including major demonstrations in New York City's Times Square and at federal courthouses, as well as in Washington D.C., Chicago, Fort Collins, Birmingham, Raleigh, and Santa Ana. Protesters chanted slogans such as "Hands Off Venezuela" and "No War on Venezuela," while demanding Maduro's immediate release and condemning the action as illegal imperialism, a violation of sovereignty, and a thinly veiled regime-change operation aimed at seizing Venezuela's oil resources.

These protests were rapidly and precisely coordinated, featuring synchronized social media campaigns, pre-designed posters, and emergency calls to action issued within hours of the capture announcement. The primary organizing entities included The People's Forum, led by executive director Manolo De Los Santos, who spearheaded rallies in New York City; Breakthrough News, a socialist media outlet closely affiliated with the Party for Socialism and Liberation (PSL); the ANSWER Coalition; Code Pink; and the International People's Assembly. These groups issued near-simultaneous statements branding the operation an "illegal bombing" and "act of war," and mobilized supporters for nationwide "days of action."

Financial and ideological backing for much of this network traces to Neville Roy Singham, a U.S.-born tech millionaire now residing in Shanghai with documented ties to Chinese Communist Party-aligned entities. Singham has provided millions of dollars in funding to The People's Forum, Code Pink (co-founded by his wife, Jodie Evans), and related organizations to promote anti-imperialist and anti-U.S. narratives on global stages.

Additionally, the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) amplified the message by publicly denouncing the capture as a pretext for resource exploitation and calling for Maduro's return, with prominent DSA-affiliated figures, including New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani, describing the operation as a blatant act of war and urging opposition to U.S. military intervention in Latin America.
